This section of our Privacy Notice provides additional information for California residents ("you" or "your") and describes our information practices pursuant to the California Consumer Privay Act 2018, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act 2020 and its implementing regulations the "CCPA". Depending on how you interact or engage with us, we may irovide you with other privacy notices with additional details about our privact practices.
This section applies to "Personal Information" as defined by the CCPA, whether collected online or offline. This section does not address or apply to our handling of Personal Information that is exempt under the CCPA, such as publicly available information or eidentified or aggreagated information.
Categories of Personal Information We Collect and Disclose. The following identifies the categories of Personal Information we may collect about you, or have collected in the prior 12 months, as enumerated by the CCPA (see "What personal data do we collect and when?" for more information).

Identifiers. Such as name, email, phone number, address, unique personal identifier, onlineidentifier, IP address, account name, or other similar identifiers.

Customer Records. Such as customer records that contain Personal Information, including your name, email, phone number, address, billing and payment information, customer service and support tickets and records, and other information you provide in order to use our services.

Commercial Information. Such as records of products or services purchased, obtained, or considered, or other purchasing or consuming histories or tendencies.

Geolocation Data. Such as general location information about a particluar individual or device.

Internet or Other Electronic Network Activity. Such as usage data, which includes, but is not limited to, browsing history, clickstream data, search history, and information regard ng your interaction with our website, application, advertisements or emails, including other usage data related to your use of any of our services.

Audio, Electronic, Visual, or Similar Information. Such as information collected via call recordings if you are interacting with us in a customer service capacity or if you call us on a recorded line.

Inferences. Such as inferences drawn from any of the information described in this section including inferences reflecting a consumer's preferences, characteristics, behaviours, attitudes, abilities, and aptitudes.
Sources of Personal Information. We generally collect Personal Information from the following categories of sources: directly from you, affiliates, data brokers, cooperative data bases, social networks, operating systems and platforms, marketing/advertising agencies, and analytics firms.
Purposes for Collecting and Disclosing Personal Information. In general, we collect and otherwise process Personal Information for the following business or commercial purposes, as further described in the “How do we use personal data?” section above:
- Services and support;
- Analytics and improvement;
- Processing and fulfilling orders;
- Communicating with you;
- Marketing and promotions;
- Research;
- Planning and managing events;
- Security and protection of rights;
- Defending our legal rights;
- Compliance and legal process;
- Auditing, reporting, and other internal operations; and

Sensitive Personal Information. Mint Velvet does not collect sensitive personal information, nor does it use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes beyond those specified in the CCPA.
Retention. We retain your Personal Information for as long as needed, or permitted, based on the reason we obtained it (consistent with applicable law). When deciding how long to keep your Personal Information, we consider whether we are subject to any legal obligations (e.g., any laws that require us to keep records for a certain period of time before we can delete them) or whether we have taken any legal positions (e.g., issued any legal holds or otherwise need to preserve the information). In accordance with our retention policies, rather than delete your Personal Information we may also deidentify your Personal Information in compliance with CCPA.
Disclosure of Personal Information to Third Parties and Other Recipients. The categories of Personal Information we may have disclosed for a business or commercial purpose in the preceding twelve (12) months include: identifiers, customer records, commercial information, usage data, geolocation data, audio, video, and other electronic data, and inferences . The categories of third parties and other recipients to whom we may have disclosed this information for a business or commercial purpose may include: affiliates, business partners, vendors, and service providers, acquirers of business assets, advisors, auditors, consultants, and representatives, government entities, advertising networks, data analytics providers, Internet service providers, operating systems and platforms, cooperative databases, and social networks .
Sales and Sharing of Personal Information. The CCPA defines "sale" as disclosing or making available Personal Information to a third-party in exchange for monetary or other valuable consideration, and “sharing” includes disclosing or making available Personal Information to a third-party for purposes of cross-contextual behavioral advertising . While we do not disclose Personal Information to third parties in exchange for monetary compensation, we may “sell” or “share” the following categories of Personal Information: identifiers, commercial information, usage data, and inferences . We disclose these categories to third-party advertising networks, analytics providers, cooperative databases, and social networks for purposes of marketing and advertising and to improve and measure our ad campaigns . We do not sell or share Sensitive Personal Information, nor do we sell or share Personal Information about individuals we know are under the age of sixteen (16).
Your California Privacy Rights
In general, California residents have the following rights with respect to their Personal Information, subject to certain conditions and exceptions:
Right to Know/Access. With respect to the Personal Information we have collected about you, you have the right to request:
- The categories or Personal Information we collected about you;
- The categories of sources from which the Personal Information is collected;
- Our business or commercial purposes for collecting, selling, or sharing Personal Information;
- The categories of third parties to whom we have disclosed Personal Information; and
- A copy of the specific pieces of Personal Information we have collected about you.
Right to Correct. You have the right to request that we correct inaccuracies in your Personal Information.
Right to Delete. Subject to certain exceptions, you have the right to request we delete Personal Information we have collected from you.
Right to Opt-Out of Sales and Sharing. You have the right to opt-out of “sales” and “sharing” of your Personal Information, as those terms are defined under the CCPA. If you come to our website or use our services from a different device or from a different browser on the same device, you will need to opt-out, or use an opt-out preference signal, for that browser and/or device as well.
Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information. We do not engage in uses or disclosures of “Sensitive Personal Information” that would trigger the right to limit use of Sensitive Personal Information under the CCPA.
Right to Non-Discrimination. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of the rights described in this section.
Exercising Your Rights. If you are a California resident and would like to exercise your CCPA rights, you may do so via any of the methods described below:
Verification. Before responding to your request, we must first verify your identity using the Personal Information you recently provided to us. You must provide us with: your email address and your previous order details. We will take steps to verify your request by matching the information provided by you with the information we have in our records. In some cases, we may request additional information in order to verify your identity, or where necessary to process your request. If we are unable to verify your identity after a good faith attempt, we may deny the request and, if so, will explain the basis for the denial.
Authorized Agent. You may designate someone as an authorized agent to submit requests and act on your behalf. Authorized agents will be required to provide proof of their authorization in their first communication with us, and we may also require that the relevant consumer personally verify their identity and the authority of the authorized agent.
Shine the Light. Under California's "Shine the Light" law (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.83), California residents who provide us certain Personal Information are entitled to request and obtain from us, free of charge, information about the Personal Information (if any) we have shared with third parties for their own direct marketing use. Such requests may be made once per calendar year for information about any relevant third party sharing in the prior calendar year. California residents who would like to make such a request may contact us by using the information provided below. The request should attest to the fact that the requester is a California resident and provide a current California address.
